Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Frida Shirt As an artist, I love the idea that Frida Kahlo and more artists like her are being seen everywhere I go. However, with her image being altered and changed, it is hard to find a design I was really keen on that did not strip her of her iconic unibrow or tried to "lighten her" in any way. I decided to go with this one for four reasons: 1) It is one of the only shirts that remain true to Kahlo. 2) A Great Print that was well done but not overly thick. 3) A shirt that was in my size and would fit comfortably, rather than skin-tight. 4) Trying to wear and own a t-shirt that was not black! This past with flying colors (pun intended), as I am very happy with this purchase. Beautiful print, well-made with no signs of destruction even after all the times I washed it. (Never seen the dryer though, I don't want to risk shrinkage or cracked print). I am a true size 1 (more on the size 14 than 16 on top) here, though I found that it does get a little tight in the chest (40 D with a broad back) little baggy in the torso area for me (33 inch waist) , but I like this because the print lays flat and is easily seen. Depending on how your weight is dispersed, try it on in store if you can. I found that the cut of the shirt goes almost straight down, with a slight flair towards the hips. I don't know if it was supposed to be more slim-fit but still relaxed, but it felt like a mix of those terms. All in all, I love this shirt and it has been my favorite I have seen anywhere with Frida Kahlo on it, thanks Torrid for bringing it back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Need a reason to love Frida even more? I love looking down and seeing Frida's crisp eyebrow on MY shirt. Love her story, who she is and her artwork. The color scheme on this is mint. I love the olive; love the crisp colors of design. Wore her with patterned, suede leggings and burgundy cardigan. Received many compliments. The design, thankfully, isn't thick and goopy feeling-- have worn many shirts with silk screened designs where the shirt fabric is soft and the design has gotten too thick and makes the shirt fit badly.
