I didn't find it too big or too small. It's not a tunic length, so it won't cover your booty if you're taller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from spider sweater i love that this sweater is whimsical and not scary. it has spiders but it takes some people a minute to notice, and they don`t get irate. it has no buttons and at first i was a little upset about it but the way it falls is very forgiving to all my imperfections.

I was unsure about the spider pieces that hang off to make the 3D effect, but seeing it in person, I do like them. I know others have cut them off. I do not think this is oversized. I originally ordered a smaller size due to the description, but I ended up exchanging it for my normal size.
