Just gorgeous
This is actually a stretchy fabric and it flows and fits just beautifully. It looks very elegant and is very comfortable and roomy!

Soft velvet kimono with fitted sleeves!
First off, I am 5 ft, but because of the drape of the material, as well as the curved hem, I found the length of this kimono to be flattering instead of overwhelming. Also, the sleeves are more fitted to the elbow and then has a slight bell, which also helps keep it from feeling like your drowning in fabric. The material is soft and stretchy and very comfortable to wear and run around in.
The color can shine silver in the light (like the item photo), but is actually a more subtle gunmetal, and can look even darker in any place that folds or isn't getting hit by light.
And lastly, in regards to the "Wiccan" symbols, I took a closer look at the design, and I can see symbols for the planets. I don't watch Outlander, so I don't know if planets are a part of the series, but as a Sailor Moon fan, I think the symbols are kinda fun and add some mystery to the kimono.

Beautiful.
I bought the last Kimono which was the blue and yellow one. Since I'm short it's always a little risk to take. I like this one long, maybe because it's darker and it looks better flowing that way. But it's warmer than the other one, made with velvet I can definitely wear it to work. It is darker than the picture so the pattern blends a little more than you think. I still love it and can't wait to show it off.

Great Kimono BUT....
I was on the hunt for a velvet kimono after watching an episode of Keeping Up With Kardashians- there was a brief clip of Khloe with this beautiful blue crushed velvet kimono- and this seemed to be the best alternative given availability of size.
BUT... I wore it to an event, and one of the audience members mentioned that there were hidden symbols in the kimono. As a muslim woman, I cannot wear pieces like this... someone else mentioned that it was a "ceremonial garment for wiccan faith".
I wish there was a disclaimer in the description, so that these accidents can be avoided. I can't wear the kimono again without thinking of this.

Quality lacking
I loved this the moment I saw it for sale, but in person I'm just disappointed. It is much darker in person and not as bright and beautiful like the photos show. The fabric is also of a poor quality. I returned this without a doubt. I expected better but just did not like it. :(
