Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dress! So I will start this off by saying, I have never seen an episode of Outlander in my life (don't come for me!) But I thought this dress was so pretty with the corset front detail so being a fan of the show is irrelevant! While I love a good FanGirl graphic tee or sweater, I like when the items like dresses or coats for example have more subtle homages to the show/movie. I love Harry Potter, but do I really need a dress that looks like the Hogwarts castle? From my limited knowledge of Outlander, I can see how this dress would work well among fans, but I also love that I can wear it to work and not look like I'm in cosplay haha! There is a little decal on the back of the neck linking this to the show, but nothing overtly obvious. My only qualm about it is the lacing in the front can make your boobs look a little strange/lumpy, but you can play with the lacing to adjust that!

I found it to be true to size and perfect for late fall and winter wear. While it is warm, comfortable and cozy, its rich color and stylish flair make it perfect for going out or special ocassions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy & comfortable & cute I'm an Outlander fan, so I noticed this when it first came out. I put it in my wish list and then it went on sale! I am so glad I didn't let it pass me by. The fabric is soft and drapes well. It feels warm and cozy without overheating you. I love the length--covers my knees and looks great with boots. (I'm a shortie at 5'3"). I wasn't sure about the lacings at the waist, but they really add to the silhouette. And I love the bracelet length sleeves! I am always pushing up long sleeves, so it's nice not to have to.

Though I did not read about sizing up with certain Torrid collections. I was nervous because I purchased this on clearance. Since I'm a solid 1 in Torrid dresses and lean on the smaller/roomier end of most styles, I kept a positive mindset. So glad I did, my fiance´ really liked the way my bust looked. Also it was just barely bellow my knees which was great(5'4"), because most Torrid dresses that length are longer on me, like closer to mid-calf. The sleeves are also a perfect length as well and can be pushed up without stretching out the cuffs. This dress is the one that fit me closest to the Torrid model wearing it. So cool. Only I have 2 warnings: 1. Total pet hair magnet. 2. Wind caution warning. Skirt is flare and full enough to show your underware. This creepy old dude got a "view" (eew/ugh)when a gust of wind blew by. Next time I wore it on a windy day I used tights. Have an safe and fun Valentine's day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! I bought this dress for my nonbinary partner and they love it! It's comfortable, classy, and can be styled casually or dressier. The tie in the front is useful for creating a more feminine silhouette by lightly cinching the waist. They adore it and I love it on them! Dress bought in a size 5 and my partner is somewhere between 4 and 5 so it fits a little more loosely than it would on me. They're 6'1 and the skirt falls slightly above the knee.

Most sweater dresses feel thick and stiff, and I'm usually burning up in them. This dress is a thinner sweater material that moves well and feels cozy and comfortable, without being stifling. It's soft and the fit is so good! I ordered a 4 (from my typical 3) because I do find the collection pieces to generally be made a little bit smaller than Torrid's typical offerings. The burgundy color is gorgeous, but I really love the lace-up front that allows you to personalize the fit more. My bust is much smaller than my hips, so tightening the laces helps define my waist more and gives me a better fit for my body type. LOVE this detail! Also, I'm 5'9" and the hem hits at the knee for me.
