Beautiful Skirt
I will warn you there is no stretch to the material in the skirt. I'm usually a 12 in bottoms, but because these are made with buttons I went to a fourteen. Glad I did, because I have to unbutton them to put it on and take it off. Otherwise it's beautiful and sits on my hips. I'm also 5'2 and this is the FIRST skirt or dress I've purchased that actually sits at my knees. I'm thrilled and love it so much.

Too Short
I love the color and shape of this skirt, but I unfortunately won’t be able to wear it as it’s much too short. I wear a 2 in dresses but ordered a 22 in this skirt based on the other reviews and it still gapes a little between the top two snaps.

Not very flattering
One of the few things that i bought from Torrid that i do not like. There is no give at all, no stretch at waist band so between the buttons it buldges. Since i bought on clearance i can't return so i will donate it and hopefully it will get some good use.

Not even a little…
I bought this right before Christmas to wear for the 24th and I’m so sad to report that it has absolutely no stretch not even a little I’m usually a 26 so I ordered in a 28 just in case and I couldn’t get the top button to close so I had to return it :/ it’s so cute but definitely a flop

Impractical design for real life wear
This skirt has 4 major design flaws:
1. Zero stretch
2. A completely split front
3. Too big of distance between the snaps
4. Snaps instead of buttons to keep fastened
I figured the skirt would (logically) be sewn up inside the front, with the snaps & front flap just for show, but NOPE literally the whole thing separates into a flat "sheet". Not only were some of the snaps flimsier than others staying connected, but also have too much space between them, creating weird gaps & puckers depending how you move around or sit. Sizing up did not solve the problem - original fit beautifully standing, but sometimes pulled sitting. Next sized reduced occasional gaping with movement/sitting, but then fit overlarge around the waist/hips standing stationary. Not flatting enough to keep.
If you're looking to play Highlander fantasy where your partner literally rips your clothes off without ruining them (or a stripper), this skirt absolutely nails it. For people who want to be confident their skirt won't suddenly snap apart doing all the actions a normal person does in a regular day, sadly not so much.
