Perfect for lounging!
A little short but perfect for lounging. I wouldn't go out in public with it, but I would happily do things in/around/near my house while wearing it. I got my normal dress size of 3 and that was perfect.

Really enjoying this!
I work exclusively from home & am always looking for clothes that’re comfortable but can pass for biz casual, should my boss decide to turn the camera on for an impromptu Teams meeting. I’ll throw leggings on with some jewelry & bam, work appropriate. It’s also incredibly comfortable to sleep in. Plus, POCKETS!!! Definitely runs big, I’m a 2, got a 1 & am relieved I did.

Purchased this for a neighbor friend. She adores it. Is definitely oversized but that is the point. She raves about the comfort and wearing around the house on lazy Saturday and Sundays. She also says it washes up just fine.

I absolutely love this. I have sensory issues and prefer to be comfortable at home. This and a pair of bike shorts has been perfect. And it is quite oversized. I actually bought a size smaller than I normally do and it’s still oversized on me, so you could absolutely size down if needed. It’s very comfy, and it’s better than answering the door in my pajamas lol

Fun casual dress for sleep, summer or beach. Love the colours and have purchased in grey and now purple/burgundy. Nice thickness of material and soft to touch. Not too short and good shape.

Great dress. Fabric is thicker and nice quality it will definitely hold up over time. Very oversized I had to get a whole sz smaller and it’s still a bit bigger than I had hoped.

So comfy and flattering!
I love this dress (and I wasn't wearing it as sleepwear!)! It looks perfectly nice with a cardigan and flats. The cut is flattering with the gathering but still comfy. The purple color is vibrant, and I got compliments on it! Debating on buying the grey too!

Coverage w/o overheating!
I have a couple of the spaghetti-strap nightgowns because I love they keep me cool when lounging around the house. What I don’t like is once they’ve been washed and dried a few times, they stretch out pretty badly and become quite revealing. I don’t feel comfortable wearing them if I just need to grab a delivery from the door or if my brother is stopping by.
But this new one is the best of both worlds! It has great coverage up top, I’m only 5’ tall but it’s still quite short on me but not too short (hits right above the knees), and the material of this one is very breathable so I don’t overheat, as I’m prone to doing! But what I love most is it’s a nightgown kind of disguised as a dress! So I don’t feel funny opening the front door to grab a package or if my brother swings by after I’ve already changed.
The one-star review seems to be by someone who thought this was a dress and not a nightgown—it is clearly a nightgown, and I’m very glad it is loose-fitting. Personally, I’ve been annoyed when I see torrid put out nightgowns that would have been perfect if not for their fitted empire waist—I’d need a bra to wear that! Certainly not what I want when wearing a nightgown. I made sure when looking at the photos of this one that it was not fitted anywhere. It’s perfect!
To Torrid: Please make this in more pretty colors! I only like the purple and would love to see it in shades of pink, teal, emerald, and red!
