For what is a fairly simple beige top, this is really pretty. The pin tucks in the top center with the cutout vertical bands, give it just enough visual interest. Loose in the body, as a peasant top tends to be. The elastic on the 3/4 sleeves is loose and more to give a slight blousy shape than to be functional to hold the sleeves in place. Throw it on with some jeans, and you’re good to go. I wore it to work with crisp dark wash jeans and will dress it down with ripped, faded jeans for a totally different vibe.

I am thrilled
I was out of town for a business trip and at the last minute, I was invited to an after work casual gathering. I didn’t have any appropriate clothes. I stopped in at a Torrid I had never visited before and within 3 minutes, the sales chick brought this over to me to try on. Never in a million years would I pick this out. I’m 5’9” and weigh 180-185lbs. I paired this with bombshell high waisted bootleg jeans and I looked awesome! I like the style of babydoll tops but they don’t flatter me - this is just the right style for me.

Love the details.
I just bought this in the store today and despite it being a little shorter than I like, the quality and fit won me over. It is a great weight, the details are well done and as a peasant style shirt, i expected it to be a fuller fit. I love it and highly recommend this cute shirt!

Honestly I didn’t love it and ultimately returned this shirt. I wear a 2 and purchased both a 1 and a 2. I could have worn the 1 as it ran big. It looked too simple. It reminded me of a shirt made for a “play or musical”. It was comfortable but I didn’t care for the look. Maybe if it were in a different color I would have liked it.
