It flares slightly from just under the chest so it looks good with anything you want to pair it with without being self conscious.

Because it was just too tight over my boobs and I didn't think a size up would work because when I do this, sometimes then there's way too much of an opening under the arm. I have the black one of this from 2 years ago and a 3 fits great, but the 3 in this was tighter in the chest. I had to unzip it to pull it over my head and then could barely zip it back up (42DDD).
