They ended up fitting me perfectly in my true to size. I can see if someone carries weight in the stomach they'd need to size up. I love them, in my typical size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I bought these a few weeks ago and just put them this week. The destruction on both legs in front didn't look right on the website, but I decided to try them anyway. I have thick thighs and when you sit down the strings of fabric dig in my thigh. Easy fix I just used sand paper to destruct them lose. Easy fix...I'm happy. Fits great I the waist and hips. They also don't have as much stretch as most of Torrid denim shorts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good but size up if you have an apron belly DEF size up its like the pockets are sewed in to tight but once it stretched out these shorts fit so comfortable. ALSO be ready your under wear may show through the rips mine do. and if are a no underwear person your good may show from the side.
