The material itself is light, but the skirt all together is a little heavy. The band is about 1.5 inches thick and is elastic. Love the details and I love the skirt!

Then, last night right after my partner and I left a movie we dropped into the Torrid store and saw this skirt. Just wow! The pictures online do it no justice and actual make the skirt look cheap and tacky. The opposite is true. This skirt has a great pattern you cannot see in the online pictures and is incredibly comfortable on. The skirt can be dressed up or down. After trying on and purchasing, I started to wish they had it in red, too.
