Buy this classic sweater
My preference is for classic looking pieces. I loathe drop shoulders. This sweater is on clearance for $12.99, I cannot believe it has not sold out. I wasn't sure, but for the price I took a chance. I ordered a size 3 and a size 4 as I prefer a looser fit and sometimes a 4 is more comfortable. The 4 was comfortable and fit well but for me the length was too long. I am 5' 4". The 3 was perfect, maybe could have been a slight bit looser but the length was perfect.
This sweater looks amazing on. First off, if you look good in darker colors this is the perfect shade of dark gray, very flattering. There is 5% wool, which to me gives it a more expensive look. Raglan sleeves - finally something without drop shoulders. The crew neck is also the perfect size and not oversized. It is a pointelle sweater fabric which means there is a small openwork(holes) pattern. I wear a dark tank top underneath it but it can be worn as is.
This is a classic looking and fitting sweater. Can be dressed up or down. Not too heavy, not too light. Wear with jeans or dressed up for work. I went back and ordered several more to stock up. The Torrid photos don't do this swater justice at all. I was very surpised at what a great sweater it was when I received it.

Beautiful
The color is attractive and is a pointelle knit so there are smaller holes in lines. I feel confident wearing any bra or bralettes underneath as it's not see through. The fabric is very soft, not itchy and warm. I'll get a lot use out of this during colder weather. I ordered my usual in sweater knits, a size 2. The fit is comfortable not tight and not too long.

A little itchy?
I did size down as recommended and Tgst was best for me. It does have holes, but you won’t see much through it if the sweater isn’t worn tight. The fabric is a little scratchy. I can see how someone might not like it. I’m not sure this will be a “ go to” sweater for me. I might wear a camisole under it, just to be comfortable.i sized down and it fit well, good over jeans.

This sweater is very cute and softer than it looks like it would be. The only downside side is that it has little holes in it that I didn’t really notice in the pictures online.
