I got them in an 18s and they’re perfect all over, I have 19in calves and they aren’t too tight in the legs. It’s always so hard for me to find a pair of jeans that actually fit because my waist is a lot smaller than my hips so usually jeans muffin top me really bad, slide down and just aren’t flattering but the waist is high enough to conceal a roll and a newly formed baby pooch. If you’re bottom heavy like I am and always have to deal with the gap in the back of the waist, give these a try! I just hope torrid doesn’t stop making them any time soon!

I have historically worn denim skirts for the past 15 years because my legs and hips are curvy and if pants fit my bum, they don't fit my legs or vice versa. The price was right so that if they didn't fit, it was no hardship to turn them into a skirt, but I am excited to say that they fit nicely. Good coverage on my bum. They don't slide off when I sit down and they conform to my legs. Happy with the purchase!
