The waist is so stretchy so it’s perfect if you have bloating or if you are going out to dinner! I like that I can pull it up higher and get a cute short length while not having to worry about flashing my butt because of the shorts. It’s also super flattering around the tummy too! Love my black skort!!

Honestly, I bought it because of other reviews - I wanted the extra stretch in the stomach area to smooth things over, and the shorts that are part of the skirt to know I'm covered while getting a shorter skirt length which makes it easy to dress up or down (and it's going to be a summer staple for me!).

Some skorts are way too long and I end up looking frumpy. But this one is a hit! Please make more just like this! Hot and classy!

I love a smocked waist because it is not binding and does not cut into my stomach. However, I wore this skirt backwards. The waist in the front is V shaped and it did not do me any justice but when I cut the tags out ans wore if backwards it fit great and enhanced my back side. IF you are on the fence, try it backwards? Im a size 14 0/1in torrid bottoms. Size 1 fit good. Im 5'8. 240.
