Since I am a bit shorter than the mode, it was longer on me as well. Not enough bother for me to return it though. It'll be more of a tunic on me than a tee.

The arms are about right, though, so I don't know that sizing down will work. It might work if you're okay with a not-particularly-flattering but super comfortable top.
