Rated 5 out of 5 by from Runs big and stretchy I bought this in a size 4. It was too big not as the waist but the thighs and butt area. It is really wide at the bottom. So if you wear a size 3 but have fat thighs and a big butt, you may want a size 2. The color is very Spring and Summer.

The short is mid thigh and very complimentary to the leg. It is made of a good quality lace and the lining is dyed to an exact match. I am a young 50ish and love Torrids clothing. The shorts are a must for summer. They look great paired with the chiffon strappy camisoles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from too cute Ok, so here's my thing. I hate short shorts. Most of them are not made for nor do they look good on anyone that has any meat on their bones. ( But then, they were started partially by the character Daisy Duke, who was super skinny ) I LOVE these! They fit like shorts but give the illusion of a cute little mini skirt. Like I told the cashier, I passed these by maybe 20 times online and didn't think much of them; but I dug the color so much that I had to try. They look SO good on. For size reference, I wear 14's in most of Torrid's jeans and skirts and can sometimes size down to a 12 in some of their jeggings due to my smaller waist. A 1 fits great. Of course, like most really short shorts, I will have to take a jacket to sit on for bleachers and picnic tables, and store away from my fur baby, but those of you with animals know the toils of keeping lacy things away from curious kitties and puppies. Overall, the elastic gets rid of the waist gap I have in most shorts, lets me be a little sexy, and stay family friendly. I am going to order other colors!
