I wasn't sure what to expect for the material but I'm a big fan of smocked waist shorts because I have very wide hips and I like that the smocked waist lets them rest above my hips while also giving me that ideal amount of stretch. The shorts themselves are very lightweight, and they feel sort of like a thin cotton or linen material. They are also pretty short, but I'm also tall, and the shortness doesn't bother me. Just something to consider for others.

I bought these about a month ago, and well the weather warmed up and i paired together a whole outfit and was so relaxed and casual for a baseball game , wish i had pictures of the whole outfit but i only got the top half ! I will say i am looking forward to wearing it this week well i travel in the Grand Tetons or well in Yellowstone, then ill wear the outfit again later this summer well vacation in Arizona!
