Super cute
I thought the skirt was super cute.I have the petticoat that goes underneath it and a lot of the other fifty style.Items that I purchased previously. It'll look great with or without the petticoat. Nice pink belt that it came with.I like it even more that I bought it on clearance.Fits true to size.

Unconventional Wedding!
I got this whole outfit for my wedding ceremony (minus the shoes, as I already had those), & my hubby absolutely loved how it looked on me! Only downside, & it's not enough to detract from the score, is the tulle skirt that's also offered by Torrid is ~8" shorter than the skirt, so unless you glue it in place for an event, it'll never stay with that black ruffle peeking out underneath. My hope is to find a way to attach it in place to the skirt's lining, but have it be removable so I can still wash it. As has already been mentioned, the skirt is at least a full size too small, & feels old it was designed for a much more of an OG Barbie frame (big top, big bottom, TINY waist), so keep that in mind when ordering. i generally wear a size 2 or 3 in skirts from Torrid, but sized up to a 4 based on the previous reviews, & the belt only got to the 3rd hole.
Overall, I do recommend the outfit, as it is so adorable. But the Retro Chic line needs some adjusting for size, bc they're habitually 1-2 sizes smaller than normal Torrid brand clothing.

Polka Dots
I received this today. It’s really cute. Can be dressed up or down. I am going to wear it with a graphic tee! Also purchased from Torrid. It runs large imo. I could have ordered a 1. I purchased a 2. Either would work. There is a lining on the inside. The biggest plus is that it has pockets. And for all of the ladies that love pink, the pink belt is included!! I purchased a black skinny belt to pair with the skirt just my preference. Yes i would recommend.

Good deal
Got this when it was $15. Worth it. Very cute. Material not my favorite. And needs a slip under it. But for 15 bucks a good deal.

Adorable skirt
Very cute skirt. Pockets! Seems to still lay ok and look nice even without the crinoline underneath. I have an apron belly and usually size up on pants because I don’t like accentuating my belly/fupa. Jeans or sweats I’d go 3 but typically a 2 in skirts because I wear it high and I ordered this in a 2. It fit ok enough but not a lot of extra room…the belt barely fit. If you’re between sizes I’d say go up. While I do love polka dots, would like to see more from the retro line than polka dots and cherry everything.

This skirt looked so cute on the model and I really wanted to l9ve it. But when it arrived the fabric had that cheap, plastic SHE!N feel. It was actually shiny under the lights, and felt horrible. Fit was true to size, belt was cute (but also pure plastic), but I just couldn't stand the awful fabric. Back it went.

Cute, but...
There's some serious issues with the design of this whole outfit, as pictures. First of all, the crinoline they have showing at the hem of the skirt is offered for sale thru Torrid.... and about 6-8" shorter than the skirt itself, if you wear them both with their respective waistbands at the same height. Meaning, you'll never get that peekaboo of the crinoline.
Which means this photo, at the very least, has had the skirt heavily edited in post in order to look like this.
Secondly, as has been mentioned elsewhere, the belt is 1-2 sizes smaller than the skirt itself. If you get an 18-20 skirt, as that's your usual size, the belt will be between a 10-14, so will never fit. Not unless you have an extremely wasp-ish waist (in which case, good for you! And I'm also slightly envious <3).
And lastly, the fabric. I can see where some folks are put off by the fabric, because it is very reminiscent of bed sheets. But only because of the high cotton percentage in the fabric, which is also why it wrinkles so easily. I don't have a solution for this, other than carrying around a fabric steamer if you're going to be wearing any of the Retro Chic line to some sort of event (since the vast majority of their line has the same fabric content of high-cotton/low-everything-else).
I already have, and will be keeping, this whole outfit (sweater & crinoline included). Maybe I can figure out a way to get the crinoline to be semi-permanently fixed to the lining of the skirt, in order to get that peekaboo effect. I'll have to look at it later.
(Caveat: Yes, I would recommend this product BUT only if you know that you're not getting the skirt that's pictured, and only if you're aware the belt won't fit unless you size up.)
