How To Wear It

It’s cute but runs small
I found that it runs small and it is also short on me at 5”9. It’s very light weight which is nice for summer but also could use a lining. I got a 1 but could use a 2.

Costumy but Cute!
Cute dress! I like the bow and collar! Its very thin. Feels very costumy vs everyday wear. Im happy I got it but also happy I didnt pay more than what i did for it. Get it on sale.

Cute and generally fits well (though the hem is a little shorter on me [5'8"] than I'd hoped). The material is fairly thin and unfortunately pretty wrinkly. It's very flattering and a nice colour; I'm just dreading having to iron it all the time.

That bow..
I love the feel, fit, and look of the dress overall except for one thing. The neck bow is WEIRD. It's not quirky cute like you'd expect it to look. It's giving 70s stewardess uniform vibes. I tried it on and showed my husband and even he said "it's definitely a casual going grocery shopping dress, but the neck tie ruins it a bit.: I agree. I will still wear it because i love how thin and cooling and flowy it'll be to have as a casual option, but it unfortunately won't be a "go to" for me.

Thin
It's a very cute dress but is much thinner than I expected. Another layer of material would make it a better quality. If you want the skirt to be full, definitely get a crinoline slip to go underneath. It also came in the package very wrinkled.

Could’ve been great
I really wanted to like this one. The pattern is very cute and I love the bow at the neckline. It’s a decent length, although I wouldn’t mind two more inches. But why on earth isn’t it lined? Like other RetroChic dresses that are less expensive are lined, and the lining is completely sewn in. So I don’t see why they couldn’t have done this here, for those of us who don’t care to wear it with a crinoline. Debating if I’m going to line it myself or just return it.

Disappointed!
I really, really wanted to love this as a 60's era "secretary" vibe dress for work. First, I dont care for the feel of the fabric and it seems as though it would easily wrinkle. I am 5'6", apple shape, 42D chest and wear size 2 dresses (occasionally 1). Second, on me, the drsss's waist lands immediately below my chest, so the belt area doesn't accentuate my waist but looks silly. The tie at the neck just added to the silliness on me. It just doesn't work for me so I will return it for other Torrid styles. I am sure it would work on a taller lady.
