New favorite dress
I change sizes from 1 and 2 in Torrid so I bought both in this dress. I’m keeping both sizes so I’ll always fit into this dress. It’s very comfortable and flattering. I wish there were more in this style!

Really cute! Move over Dorothy! This pink gingham plaid is sooooo fresh!
For reference I’m 5’3, 180, 38DDD::: I pretty consistently wear 00 tops, dress, jackets.. 00/10 jeans unless they’re rigid with very little stretch I go up to a 0/12 - I do take a 0 in leggings because of my tummy. I ordered this dress in 00 and it fit true to size! Perfect!!!!!!
The length was down to my knees, so a very conservative length. Not quite as conservative up top, easily fixed with a little cami if you’re concerned about that.
I have a feeling the fabric may wrinkle easily. Dress arrived pretty wrinkled so just be prepared - keep wrinkle guard on hand!! Hopefully I’m wrong about it wrinkling! 🤞🏼
Fabric is soft ands light! Perfect for warm spring days and summer days too!
I do appreciate that the dress is lined and the colors are very true to what is in the photos 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Beautiful dress! Five stars, despite the wrinkles! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very cute dress concept with some unfortunate flaws:
1) I don't love the stretch challis. I think the retro chic dresses require more structure. This feels very floppy and cheap. It doesn't sit as nice on the body as my other retro chic dresses.
2) It's lined with white fabric, which wouldn't be a problem, but because the fabric is floppy, the top of the bust tends to roll back a bit, showing the white lining. The back of the knotted bow is also white - and unless you pin it, it doesn't lay nicely and shows the white as well.
3) the sleeves also flop around as well don't always lay nice
The plusses of the dress:
1) perfect length
2) great colour and pattern
3) POCKETS!
I'll keep it, but definitely not my favourite in the retro chic line. I won't be buying any more if they are made with stretch challis
