Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it! Hurry! Just wore it yesterday and got so many compliments! The weight of the dress/fabric is perfect. It's substantial but still light. I don't have a big rack like most of y'all, so I had to pin the top and it was a little loose but honestly it looked intentional and really good!!! My favorite sexy dress.

Works best with a push-up strapless bra and very flattering - I've found the specialty lines (retro, nightfall, etc) run a little larger than the regular torrid clothes - so I sized down - I'm 5'9" 280 and a 2 is a decent fit for me. If you're shorter it may be too long. Bust is larger, dress has some stretch - so consider that depending on your shape (I'm more pear so I just did the padded bra and it's great!)

A bit about the dress: I concur with most of the reviews. Yes to stepping into the dress. Yes to sizing up one size unless you are really confident with your curves. It is a bit on the heavy side but even though I live in the South, it’s still a bonus to me. A thinner dress wouldn’t have the structure that this does and would hug your body in an unflattering way. This dress is FLATTERING for several body types. I can see where an apple shape might not like this style. A bit about me: I am an hourglass shape that is pretty substantial on top. I think this dress was made with that body shape in mind. I am not confident in my curves, so when I say it makes me look good, you know Torrid did something right.

Someone said I looked like Jessica rabbit which I take as a compliment! Highly recommend 11/10. I love the retro chic line. Keep them coming torrid!
