It runs true to size and the cute red belt is perfect for creating a shapely figure. I am 5’3” with a 44DDD chest and this dress has ample room.without being too big on the bottom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Little disappointing I was excited to see the kinda glam retro line reappear, but I was a tad disappointed in this one. It's not sexy in the traditional sense - AT ALL! It is in fact, very modest. It would be a great work dress in that regard, and the stupid back smoothing bra did stay hidden in the back, so that's a plus. I disagree that the belt ran large - I have it on the 2nd to last in my size 2. But the dress is roomy

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fit was off I ordered this in a 3 which is my normal size fir most Torrid dresses. However, the dress was big, but I loved it. So I returned it to get the 2 knowing it would be perfect. The dress part fit perfectly, but the belt was too small. Without the belt for accent, it's just a plain black dress, which was not what I wanted, so it went back. Very sad :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as advertised When this dress arrived, I opened up the package and didn’t recognise it. It’s very poofy (not in a good way). For me to have loved this dress the following things would have to happen: rise up the back a bit, shorten the skirt (too long), the sleeves needed a little less poof. Maybe if I ordered a smaller size…I would probably still need to hem it up and fix the back. Also, my daughter and my sister agreed the belt could be a little wider.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Puffy and Large Didn’t work for me. It is “puffier” than I expected and runs quite large. I usually wear a 2 in Torrid dresses but I think a 0 would have worked for me. The belt was very long, still very oversized on the smallest setting. It was cute but the poof sleeves and overall puffiness made it cutesie.

Then I got my dress and as soon as I put it on- I was heartbroken. It's so puffy and large. I felt so frumpy in this dress. The dress itself is so cute and like I said I was so so so excited. It's going back. </3

I bought fun vintage inspired fit n flare vibes, but I got church at 10am, followed by grandma’s funeral at 2pm vibes. The neckline on this one was very wide on me, and made my shoulders between my bra strap and my neck look fat! Like what even is that?! That’s what made me laugh the most. I really wish Torrid would remember us shorter/more petite girlies who also want to rock fun vintage styles. If the tie in the neck actually cinched the neckline or the skirt was about 6in shorter, this would’ve been so much better, but this dress was just a wildly disappointing swing and a miss.
