My New Date Night Dress
I just recently purchased this wonderful dress that made me look like the princess I am! My boyfriend absolutely loved it. First, the lace is quality made and beautifully patterned. The area around the bust is flirty while being modest. The lace sleeves also have great give. Second, the features that accent the dress are gorgeous including: the lace in the back that can be adjusted, the buttons that align the front and the beautiful collar. I am absolutely in love! The layer and tule are well made and give my figure that retro look. The fabric is so well made and definitely worth the price. I'm a size 18 and will absolutely be buying again.

Gorgeous lace to wow you
I took the advice of a reviewer to size up...BIG mistake. I look like i'm wearing a circus tent. I'm going to return it and order a size lower...possibly 2 lower. It fits as it should. Do not size up. The dress is of excellent quality for formal and semi formal functions. The colour is unique and won't easily be matched with others at the same event. This is a beautiful dress but do not size up!

Disappointing
Where do I begin? When I saw this online I KNEW I had to buy it. Beautiful color, loved the lace, and the style was adorable. I waited until it went on sale and ordered it as soon as it did. Well today I receive it in the mail and was so excited. Immediately went to my room and tried it on.
First thing I noticed when putting it on was that it was a very heavy dress. I have tons of dresses from Torrid and this dress is by far the heaviest I have ever felt from here. I can only assume it’s because of the 2 full rows of Tule under the dress. ( I’ll get to the tule in a moment)
I had a hard time getting the dress to go down over my breast. I wear a 48DD bra and a size 24 dress. I was able to get it to fit but it felt very snug with very little wiggle room. I would recommend buying a size up.
Now on to the tule. ( the tutu like material). The tule, in my opinion, was too much. The dress poofed out so much I looked pregnant. It looked terrible. I couldn’t stop laughing at how large it made me look. It does NOT look fluffy at all on the model in the pic. I tried flattening the tule out but it just kept fluffing back up. It’s so disappointing because this dress looks so cute on the model but didn’t look good at all on me.
The lace around the arms and neck was soft and not scratchy BUT I wasn’t able to lift my arms above my head without feeling like it would tear or rip. I don’t know if a size up would have fixed that.
End result I looked twice my size and I couldn’t lift my arms. I have over a dozen dresses and other outfits from Torrid and all are a 24. So if you want to try this dress for yourself I do recommend ordering 1 size larger (especially if you have larger breast).

Not for me
I was very excited waiting for this dress but i think it's not for me. It looks pretty on the model, but not for me. I got size 12 'cause 10 was sold out and i look like size 16 or 18, i look so huge, it's very fluffy... may be it works for a different kind of body...
