Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute, Flattering Dress I just received the light green gingham retro dress today. Surprisingly, it is very flattering for my apple shape at 4'11." The waist is short enough to fit my torso as well. It is a tad longer than mid-calf for me, but I love it at that length. It'll cover my compression socks. The smocking at the back fits well, and the bust area fits mu 42D cup perfectly. Some might think that area of the dress is too small for them. So, if you are larger busted take it into consideration. One drawback about the dress is that the back goes past my bra, unadjusted. I'll have to take the straps up about 2-3 inches. However, I'll wear a short white cardigan to cover the thin straps anyway because I don't like my big arms exposed. Depending on the style, i can wear 2x or 3x and 22 or 24.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for spring! Finally had the chance to wear this dress today and it’s just so pretty! So flattering and fun to twirl in. Such pretty shade of green for spring and I love that the belt was included. I agree with the other reviews that the material is a bit synthetic feeling so I’m not sure how breathable things will be at the height of summer, but it’s perfect for now. I paired it with the white petticoat for ultimate floof!

The fit overall is great, even with my smaller bust I usually have a gapping issue but the neckline is just high enough to where I don't. I don't love the outer fabric it's kinda loud and feels a little "plasticy" but it still looks so great on. I love when these dresses come with a belt.

I am 205 lbs., 5'6, 38DDD, usually wear size 12/14 and I bought this in a size 00. Fits perfectly, not tight, not loose. If you are on the fence, buy it. The gamble is soooo worth it. I cannot wait to wear it for my mom's birthday party. And Easter. And my wedding anniversary. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spring Green Gingham This beautiful dress has a fresh look to it - the color and design is perfect for spring and even summer. The belt was surprisingly perfect. The dress is very comfortable and I love the pockets. The only reason it didn’t rate a five is because of the wrinkle factor, which drives me crazy. With a bit of steaming it’ll be lovely to wear around town, but will never be included in my travel attire and bags.
