Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for spring! Finally had the chance to wear this dress today and it’s just so pretty! So flattering and fun to twirl in. Such pretty shade of green for spring and I love that the belt was included. I agree with the other reviews that the material is a bit synthetic feeling so I’m not sure how breathable things will be at the height of summer, but it’s perfect for now. I paired it with the white petticoat for ultimate floof!

The fit overall is great, even with my smaller bust I usually have a gapping issue but the neckline is just high enough to where I don't. I don't love the outer fabric it's kinda loud and feels a little "plasticy" but it still looks so great on. I love when these dresses come with a belt.

I am 205 lbs., 5'6, 38DDD, usually wear size 12/14 and I bought this in a size 00. Fits perfectly, not tight, not loose. If you are on the fence, buy it. The gamble is soooo worth it. I cannot wait to wear it for my mom's birthday party. And Easter. And my wedding anniversary. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spring Green Gingham This beautiful dress has a fresh look to it - the color and design is perfect for spring and even summer. The belt was surprisingly perfect. The dress is very comfortable and I love the pockets. The only reason it didn’t rate a five is because of the wrinkle factor, which drives me crazy. With a bit of steaming it’ll be lovely to wear around town, but will never be included in my travel attire and bags.

It's beautiful in person, is true to size, a second lining has been added to the dress which a huge bonus and the dress also has pockets. I was afraid that to the belt was not going to fit me, due to previous reviews that I read, but the belt fits me great. It's almost too big for me. My only complaint is the fabric choice. It almost feels like plastic which brings costumes to mind and I hate that for this garment. Let's not use this fabric for future garments please. Other than that, I love it.

I'm between a 4/5, know they're mini, but ordered a size 6 thinking it would give me a little more length. I loved everything about this dress except the length. It was too short for my preference. I'm pear shaped and bottom heavy, so I prefer midi, tea, or maxi lengths. Therefore, sadly, I had to return it. I wish Torrid would consider making the Retro Chic dresses in midi or tea length. Until then I will continue to wish upon a star that one day we'll get them in different lengths. I love dresses and would love to add these to my collection.
