I got so many compliments on it throughout the day many people were surprised to learn that it was from Torrid. I think the best thing, though that it has functional pockets on it. I added a petticoat under it for extra volume.

I wore it with the strawberry cardigan and the pink tulle skirt under (don’t love the tulle, but that’s another review). This is so fun and flattering and adorable on. I got loads of compliments. This is fairly true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning!!! Perfect Dress I love getting dressed at Torrid! This dress in black is beyond fabulous. The smocking in back gives the top a perfect snug fit. The full skirt hides the belly and hips. The cotton feel is summer friendly. The wi set straps are bra friendly- and the v neck is flattering. Also love the pockets. This can be worn with crinoline and heels or without and flat sandals! Love this!!

I am smaller in the chest so it doesn't fit as tight as I would like it too but that's a my body problem lol. It is the same fit as the other belted swing dresses (Dakota roses floral white, Georgia peaches multi, watermelon). I think I want it in the solid black as well because the black looks so elegant.

I was worried having a large chest that it would be too tight in the bodice but got my normal size and it fits perfect. Arm holes are actually an appropriate size and I can get away wearing it without a cardigan.
