A really good basic.
This is the perfect easy to wear staple dress. Throw it on with almost anything and it will look good. True to size and flattering. Feminine but not fussy. I'm 5'4" and it hits an inch or two above the knee.

Love this cute dress
I love this cute dress! I ordered the black color first. When it arrived, I loved it so much, I ordered the purple as well. This dress fits true to size. It has a nice feminine shape without being revealing or tight anywhere. The flare at the bottom is very flattering. I'm so happy that it actually has sleeves. I hate all the spaghetti straps. I don't want to layer in the warmer months and I also don't want bare arms. Thank you Torrid for making some dresses with sleeves! More like this please!!

Beautiful colour!
The colour of this dress is beautiful. I wish it came in a different fabric other than ribbed, which can be a bit too clingy.

Not bad but not good
It’s just okay. Color is great, the fabric is okay but not great (wish it was the other ribbed of the skater dresses that flow wonderfully and not this thick cotton). The cut was… fine. I am hourglass shaped and it fits fine enough but the cut left some flow on the skirt except there was a lot of additional fabric coming from the end of the buttons so that it was almost like a pointer toward my chest. My chest doesn’t need that kind of advertisement 😬

Cut weird
I’m an apple shaped size 5/6. I ordered a 5. The shoulders and sleeves are big and the neckline too wide. And the bottom of the dress didn’t flare like the photo. It felt like it may have been too small from the waist down, but the shoulders and top needs to be 1-2 sizes smaller.
If you are an hourglass shape it could work, but a triangle would be best. You need wide shoulders and narrow hips/legs

A really good basic.

I love this cute dress! I ordered the black color first. When it arrived, I loved it so much, I ordered the purple as well. This dress fits true to size. I am hourglass shaped and it fits fine enough but the cut left some flow on the skirt except there was a lot of additional fabric coming from the end of the buttons so that it was almost like a pointer toward my chest. My chest doesn’t need that kind of advertisement 😬
