Hugs you in right places
This dress hugs you in all the right places. I was hesitant on ordering it because of some of the reviews, but believe me…..it really does hug you in all the right places. It’s a nice soft material and you can choose to wear it off the shoulder or not. Take the chance and buy it! Even better it’s on clearance right now.

Like the length true to size , I just wish the slip & dress fabric wasn't to heavy or thick, especially for an off the shoulder dress..you want to wear in summer but they make you extra hot.

The good, the bad, & sexy
Let’s get the bad out of the way first. If you have any tummy at all, the cut of this dress will highlight it. If you have an apron belly, it will emphasize it. If you are pregnant, you may love it because of the stretch and to emphasize your baby belly. The good is that the dress is quality material. The black and white stripes are cute. The dress is very stretchy and is lined. I personally loved the sexy body hugging fit. The ruching along the seam does move and get out of sorts while walking and such. So it’s a bit fussy to wear feeling like you need to pull down and adjust the ruching. Overall for the clearance price, I’m happy with it, but there was definitely room for improvement in this design.

Comfortable dress
I did not realize that the skirt had a size split which I do not like splits. Other than that it's pretty but I gave it away because I don't want anything with front or side splits

This dress looked great on the hanger. I flux between a 1 and 2, but tried the only one they had which was a size 1. The material felt great but once it was actually on, it just fit really odd. I think had there been a 2 to try on, maybe it would be different but I don't know. I'm 5'8"/260 and I felt the slit was too high for my taste. This one seemed to be a maternity type fit. Had a lot of potential but a no for me.

Tight, shows belly! No!
It was so skin tight its not even funny. I ordered a size up because the reviews said it was tight and it was still so tight. The way its cut it does nothing but show off your stomach. Def dont buy!

Not a plus dress!!
I ordered a 2X, fits like a size 12. It’s sized up after reading the reviews, but it’s just not a plus sized dress. This should have been caught in quality control, Torrid. Nothing about this is a plus sized dress. Barely fit over my hips, and I sized up! The top of the dress was close to a 2X, but the lower have is a 12. Worst thing I have ever bought from Torrid and I have shopped here for over a decade.

Poor execution
I just got this and am so disappointed. The rouching on the side just doesn’t sit right. When the seams are on the side it feels like the dress is “twisted”. When you fix it so that it no longer feels “twisted” the rouched seam is at a strange angle that puts the slit at the front of the knee. I supposed you could wear it that way, but the optic of the black and white stripes make it psychedelic which was not the look I was going for. I do like that the dress is lined and the fabric is heavier which is more forgiving on lumps and bumps.
