Even better in real life. When I first took it out of the shipping bag I was not sure if I was going to keep it. I was worried it might snag. After taking it out of the package I realized that the knit is pretty tightly woven so it does not feel like it will snag on every thing. I absolutely love the colors. It is a medium weight. I’m about 5‘4“ tall so I’m including a picture to show how far it comes down on me.

Substantial but flowy
I bought this ruana for my mom as a gift when it went on clearance because she likes wearing ruanas for riding in the car in the winter so she doesn't get too warm. I ordered a second one for my sister because it was still on sale, and I think that aside from getting them confused at family dinners, they'll both like their gifts...I might have to embellish one so they can keep them sorted out. The knit is substantial yet flowy enough to keep warm but not carry a lot of bulk like some sweaters, just right for that in-between temperature range in which a sweater is too much but going without is too little.

Great colors! Smells...
I love the color of this ruana, and the warmth/length. It'll go with so many things this fall. I do not love the smell it has. I have washed it and it still has an odor. I will spray with a fabric refresher,and hope that it gets better. That's the only reason it wasn't a 5 ⭐
