I thought it was pretty, but nothing outstanding - Even when I got it, I just said “Nice” and hung it in my closet - Well, I was SO pleasantly surprised when I put this dress on for the first time, it’s magic. I don’t know specifically what it is about the cut or fit or fabric but… it’s SO PRETTY and SO FLATTERING I was shocked. And even though I wear dresses to work every day, when I wore this dress literally EVERY SINGLE PERSON I saw complimented me. It just … works. The fit is true to size, the fabric hangs nicely and is not clingy. The pattern hides any bulges and the ruffle trim at the neckline is a lovely, dressy detail. I can’t say enough good things about this dress; at first glance it seems like “just another Torrid sundress” (Lord knows they have TONS of them) but it’s the stealth choice of the season. At least try it on! It’ll surprise you!!
