Great dress
Bought for a cruise. So excited to wear it. I will also wear it to an upcoming wedding. It is very light and comfortable. The fit is wonderful ( 3x)

Very wearable!
Soft gorgeous color! Bought both dresses! I felt the front is a bit high plus of wind is blowing so will tack with couple small stitches! I am 5'++2" and with a slight heel of 2--1/2" inch the length works . To dress up the black one I may try a torrid belt . To change look of the purple same . Love at first sight! Wear a short cream or white sweater jacket from torrid also from the chic line. Appreciate I can mix items from all the lines!

Not a hit!
This dress would've been PERFECT if the slit wasn't so high up. Even though it shows it pretty high on the model, since I don't know how tall she is or the height of her heels, I still decided to take a chance. Well, unfortunately, the dress is going back! I don't even think this would've been fixable if I were to pull a needle and thread out as it would then adjust the entire dress.

Im 5'2/5'3, and this dress almost touched the ground when I wore flip flops. The slit is about 3 inches above my knee, and as the previous review stated, the lining is static clingy and I could never wear tights with this dress. I'm usually an XL in dresses and I got a 1x, which fit TTS. I've bought 2 dresses from torrid, and both have empire seams right under your bust which always make me look pregnant. This dress is definitely not slimming. Not worth the $ in shipping to return, but I'll probably never wear it:(

Good idea, hard pass
Coming back to edit my review. I ended up ordering the size 2x ( originally ordered a 1x). I wanted to love this dress so much, but it looked awful on my in both sizes.
If this had banned a maxi or tea length length dress without the high slit, it would’ve been absolutely
stunning. If you carry ANY weight in your stomach area, this dress will accentuate that. Please remake this dress as a regular maxi or tea length!!! I have a blue lace dress that is similar to this, but without the slit. I LOVE the purple color though, & am SO bummed this one was a loss😥😥

High slit!
This dress is a great color and fits perfectly- accurate to size for my bust and waist, but the slit was so high cut it didn't even cover my undergarments.

Disappointed
I wanted to love this dress but between the size feeling off, the height of the slit and it being very staticky it wasn’t for me . I went with my usual size and it is not as flowy as shown in the picture. The slit is way too high. I thought about throwing a few stitches in but the way it is cut wouldn’t allow that to be a possibility. I ended up returning it.
