I have seen so many reviews where people said they had to size up or down as usual, which made me think Torrid shoe sizes are not standard at all. I also assumed wide width meant they were really wide, and I don't ever feel like I need to seek out wide width shoes. I tried measuring my feet using the outline on piece of paper and not sure I was accurate enough, although it seems like I must have a fairly wide foot at about 4 inches. I used to wear a size 9/9.5 for a long time, and suddenly realized in past few years that didn't fit anymore. I had no idea your feet would keep getting bigger, that really sucks. So I'm up to a size 10 now, and in the end I ordered size 10 in this shoe. It was a perfect fit, my toes didn't hang over at all, but there also wasn't a ton of extra room like the shoe was too big. Not much room to grow, admittedly. To be honest, I probably won't end up wearing these as I am way too out of practice for a heel this high, as a heavy gal I just don't feel real comfortable tottering around on high heels. But it seems like a well made shoe that was a steal price on final sale/clearance.

I would love these in different colors especially gold and maybe a neon green also they are a true wide width so super comfy! some time torrid gets it really right and this is one of those times.
