Super sexy
If you have an apron belly or carry more weight in your belly get your regular size!! I read the reviews saying “bottoms were too big go down a size” but I went with my gut and ordered my regular size and so glad I did! They fit perfect. I’m a size 18/20 with an apron belly and got my regular size (size 2) and am very pleased. They cover most to all of my belly line depending if I wear them lower or higher on the hip and they didn’t roll down when I sat down which I was very pleased with since most bikini cut bottoms roll down or slip down under my belly as soon as I even slightly bend over. Overall I feel so sexy in this bikini and am very happy with my purchase. And it’s cheeky but I have more of a wide booty than a big round booty so it wasnt overly cheeky on my body but for the larger booty gals it might be super cheeky as it’s labeled ultra cheeky lol also great quality and thicker material

Cute, but loose.
These bottoms are very cute. I’m so glad that I’ve found a plus size friendly company that makes string bikinis I feel comfortable in. I got a size 1, which is my normal size. I really like the coverage, but they are pretty loose, so I have to tie them pretty tight. Knowing how they fit now, I probably would have ordered a size down, and I may still do so.

Trial & error SO WORTH IT
Okay. The reviews on this one were a bit rough, but I have wanted to wear a string bikini for ages and finally had the confidence for it, so I had to give it a try.
First off: yes, it definitely runs big. I picked up my usual size 4 and knew just looking at it that it would be too big even with my PCOS belly. The reviews were back and forth on whether it was a size or two sizes too big, so I ordered both a 2 and 3 to try and find the best fit.
In the end, the best size for me ended up being the 3; this is the one in the pictures. If you have a belly then sizing down by one size will probably be the best for you. As you can see, it comes right up to the navel the way you would expect and gives decent coverage in the back while still being sexy.
That said, if you do not have a belly then sizing down by two sizes may be the way to go. My legs and butt fit into the size 2, if I tucked it under my belly. I will say, though, that because I couldn't pull it up high enough, it was a bit baggy on my butt on the bottom, and the waistline barely covered everything in back – then again, I guess low waist is coming back in. 😂
I have to dock a star for the sizing being off, but I am otherwise SO happy with this. I feel secure and held in, but sexy. I am ELATED that they restocked this in the cinnamon brown and will be getting that set along with the shibori blue. If I didn't already have a black bikini I would probably grab it in that color too!!

Cute but large size down
I normally buy a size 3 in swim bottoms but even tieing these as small as possible it felt loose in the water, so I bought another one jus one size down. I do have alot to fill the back but even like that it was loose lol

Loose Body
Just got mine in-this runs surprisingly large in the body/non-string portion of the bottom of the suite. If you have a larger lower pooch section, you might fill it out more. For reference I’m 5’8”, wear size 1 leggings and the zeros were still quite loose in the body of the suite bottoms, despite tightening the strings. When I was heavier and more rotund with my PCOS, I wouldn’t have been confident enough to wear this. How the double zeros are not available yet is beyond me, except maybe to avoid the rush on the smallest size…

Too loose: size down.
Not all string bikini bottoms are created equal, even at Torrid. I normally wear a size 2 bottom but I will need to exchange this for a smaller size. Beware!

Cute but runs big
I have these in all 3 color ways and I have to say, the sizing is a bit off. I originally ordered a size 2 and had to return for a smaller size. I'm hoping the size 1 will be better. Also, the string can be redesigned to improve. It's cute with the double string that eases into one, however, the double string prevents you from tying it tighter.

Runs really large.
The size in these runs very large. At least a size or two. If you have a lot to tuck in to these, or a larger butt, you’ll likely be fine, but if you’re a size 11ish or smaller without a butt or a fupa, you’re going to look like you’re wearing a diaper. I usually wear a 0 in leggings and went with the 0, thinking I could at least tie them tighter if they were a little big, but they fit like a 2. If they release the 00 again, I’ll likely try that size, but I imagine they will still be too big.

Huge sizing issue
I ordered 00 cheeky bottoms which typically fits- these are easily 2-3 sizes too big. I’m so confused /disappointed about the sizing issue with these. It makes zero sense that a tie side bikini bottom would be baggy by 2-3 inches with the ties tied as tight as possible. Unfortunately I cannot return the item or I would. Not happy at all.
