Great for Shorter Ladies
This bathing suit is perfect for me, but I could see it being problematic for different body types. I'm short, 5'1" and I'm in a larger c cup, definitely pear shaped. I typically buy a size 1 in bathing suits from torrid. I ordered a size 1 D/DD. I was a bit worried that the cups would be too big, but other reviews made me hopeful that it would be ok since it seemed like the suit runs a bit on the smaller side (as do most of their slim fix suits). When I tried this on I couldn't believe how well it worked on my body. It helped smooth my apron belly and gave me the lift up top I was hoping it would. The cup size definitely seems to run small, so you may want to size up in the cup. If you are taller or just have a longer torso this might not be for you, but for all my short and shorter torso ladies this might work for you.

Lost 44 pounds and bought this. Great support. Hides my belly great. Love it! I wish they had more darker colors. I am 287, 5’9” and a 40DDD for reference.

Wow wow wow. This is the best swimsuit torrid has released this spring. The blue color is better in person. I usually wear a size 1 but sized up to a 2. Im a 40D and got the 2d/dd. This is so supportive, sucks you IN and has criss cross adjustable straps that I love. Kinda has a higher leg than the other torrid swimsuits. And is cheeky. But I love it. The ruching on the sides gives it a little something too. Love it

Lingerie-quality swimsuit
This is *the* best bathing suit I've ever owned. I loved it so much that I drove back to the mall after my order came in to buy it in the other blue colour.
For clothing, I wear a 0-1 in the tops, and a 1-2 in the bottoms. I have an apron tummy, a high waist, and a long torso. I've had three kids, so the girls are a little softer and really love the underwire and aggressive (but removable) padding in the cups.
The cheeky isn't THAT cheeky on me. I felt trendy and confident with the style, and still well-covered. The floral pattern does this awesome distract with tropical print, and has light ruching as the top layer of fabric isn't as compressing as the inside layer. With adjustable straps, I was able to get the fit JUST right.
I have never felt THIS excited to get ready for a tropical vacation, and I know I will feel extra confident, contained, and ready to relax and explore on our trip. This suit is well worth the price tag, and compares to my lingerie-brand swimsuits.
HIGHLY recommend. Please make this one in black - it will be my new staple. Thanks, Torrid!

They missed the mark
I was so excited that they brought back my favorite swimsuit in my favorite colors! Unfortunately they made a few changes.. thicker strap which I don't mind and less ruching in the stomach again dont mind it's more smoothly instead now. But the problem is they made it super cheeky! I know that's very on trend now but personally at 41 I don't want the higher hip cut with half of my booty cheeks out. I would have brought them out in this suit if it was cut the way they used to be!!

Disappointing
Like the model in the product pics and another reviewer this suit’s cut is too short in the torso, the underwire does not hit under the boobs and has to be hiked up which reveals skin folds. Also runs a little small in general, bought a 2 normally wear 1’s and 2’s at torrid and this just seemed a little too tight all over.

I had high hopes for this swimsuit and maybe that was my first mistake. You can see in the pictures of the model that the suit does not appear to be long enough for her. The under wire in the boob area looks low and not actually under her boobs but for some reason I didn’t think I’d have that issue…
but I did. I’m 5’4 38F with apron belly. Typically wear a 2 in torrid but sometimes size up to 3 in certain cuts. I ordered this in a 3 ddd/F and it just doesn’t fit right.. And I don’t think it would matter if I ordered a different size, the cut of the suit just fees off… like it’s trying to be a high end suit and it’s not. To have the top portion fitting correctly with the underwire actually under my boobs holding them up, I have to hike it up so far and give myself a camel toe and then my belly pokes out the bottom. I don’t want to yuck someone’s yum but I personally hate that look and it’s not for me. The material could have been better… I know not everyone wants a suit that’s spanx like material but I was expecting this to be more like that and give more structure and shape. I was giving busted meat tube and having flash backs to cheap low quality one piece suits of my chubby childhood. It’s no from me dawg
