Rated 5 out of 5 by from In love I purchased the black dress blindly in a 2 and it was literally two sizes too big or at least that is how it felt while I had it on. For some reason the black dress runs large. I returned it for a 1 and it’s a much better fit. I was in the store last night and saw this vintage stamp one. I tried it on in a one and it gave spot on fit but on the tighter side. I tried it on in a 2 and it gave spot on fit but on the looser side. LOL This dress and size you pick is going to heavily depend upon body type and how you personally like your clothes to fit. I’m going to go with the 1 in this ONLY b/c I’ve been dieting and losing inches/pounds I think that is honestly what’s causing me to be between sizes. I’m going to stick with the size 1. I am 5’4, 247lbs, Apple belly, this dress makes me look I have curves and tummy appears flat. I will be purchasing the pink one as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best dress.... Love this dress - light, flowy, comfortable, and I feel stunning in it. I have several torrid dresses and always fit a size 1 this dress is true to size. It's not t shirt like material but still has ample stretch at waistline/where needed. At a c cup, I feel like the size 1 could accommodate slightly more bust than I have ;) at 5'6 it doesn't trip me up - can wear flats. Fyi Torrid, you need to ship shoes to Canada.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from tropical I thought this dress would be perfect for my cruise with a friend. It ended up working out great for tropical night. I thought it was good quality. I wore a strapless bra, but didn't get a photo without the cardigan. I thought I would want to take it off and never did. The hole at the front showed my bra. It was mostly hidden by the strings that were tied into a bow. That is the one thing to think about. A better choice bra that won't show in the front. I went with the size 1 after reading the reviews and it was perfect for me. Most dresses I buy in a size 1 so I say it fits true to size.

I don't even like to wear the color red (I'm a redhead), but I bought this dress in the Sherry Floral Adrenaline Rush red color for July 4th. The fit was so comfortable and looked so good on my apple-shaped size 6 body that I bought it in the Connie Leaves Peacoat fabric as well. Mind you, I am not even that crazy about this color either, but the cut of the dress is so flattering on me and it is so soft and comfortable I just had to. They were out of size 6 for my second dress so I purchased it in size 5. That worked just fine as well. The only thing I would change about this dress is that it shows off y cleavage a little bit too much for my liking so I pin it. Even so, I think I should buy this dress in every size and color available just in case I shrink. I never want to be with out it even though the color choices aren't my favorite. Bring this dress back again and again with the same fabric in different colors. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!
