This kicks it back old-school to the kind of sundresses with the smocking on top (made by a company called Polly Flinders that was big in the late 70s/ early 80s and before that) that my mom dressed me and my sister in- it's super-cute in the red and white plaid pattern, but it's grown up (and made more grown-up with a white sweater). It's flattering and has pockets. It hits me just below the knee (I'm 5'5") I'm hoping it will wash well because I've just worn it once with Torrid bike shorts underneath and it was comfortable, even with all the walking I did in it. It's a great piece for what's left of the good weather!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a beautiful dress! Absolutely beautiful dress!! I've worn it twice already...once with a black shrug and then with a beautiful white lace shrug. I received so many compliments. I love that it has pockets as well. The material is a little stiffer than just regular cotton. The straps do not adjust, but it hit me right on my knees. I love the style, and most importantly, I love the way I feel when I wear it. Buy it--you won't regret it.

Honestly, I don’t know why reviews have to be 100 words long just to say, “Hey, I like this, and it fits.” But here we are. What really helped me decide to buy was seeing photos of other real people wearing it—not where they live, what they ate, or how fast it shipped. Just the dress, on a body. So here’s mine. Hope it helps the next shopper decide faster!
