I got this dress online so I was unsure of how the lace would look in person. Omg I LOVE this dress!! It's gorgeous and is one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn!! I didn't want to take it off! I keep trying to come up with more reasons to wear it! I ordered a 16, I normally wear a 1 or 2 at Torrid. It fit perfectly. It's stretchy but doesn't lose shape. I am 5'9.

I thought...I don't have any place I would really wear that to...but then it went on a sale and I took it as a sign from the gods. Now, I have to say, I some misgivings about Torrid's lace across their products. Some have held up well, but in the last two years, the trend has been rather that it has not. But I was willing to give it a shot for this dress. I was also concerned that the scalloping might come up a little too high toward the base of my neck, as it seems to in the photo but once I tried it on...this dress was all sorts of right and I had no lingering fears. I usually fit between a 2 (20) and a 3 (22) in Torrid sizes, and ordered this in a size 20, figuring it had some stretch, based on the description. I am glad I went with the 20, as it skimmed all the right curves and I think the 22 might have been too large in the chest and the scalloping wouldn't have laid as pretty (I am not super busty, but have broad shoulders and a wide chest). It has the perfect amount of fit and flare. It is just flat out gorgeous. It is classy. It is pretty. It is sexy. Once I had it on there was no WAY I couldn't keep it. It made me feel beautiful and I will FIND places to wear it <3

It follows the lines of my body and gives a super flattering fit. I got loads of compliments all night long. I can't wait to find another occasion to bring out this beautiful dress!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was perfect I wore this with a 26in petticoat(would have shown but I pulled it up to get in the car and no one told me it wasn't showing) for my wedding and loved it! It was light which was perfect for the a warm humid Texas day. I'm 5'4, 42 H/I and about 240lbs I ordered a 20 and it fit perfectly. The material is stretchy so I feel confident that I'll be able to wear it again even if my weight yoyos. The lace is pretty delicate and snags easily.
