Get These pants!!
To preface this review, I don't wear pants. For the last 40+ years, I've owned less than 5 pairs of pants. For medical reasons, in my 20's I was told to stay out of the sun. But at 20 something, concerts, fairs, being outside with friends was living. So how to stay covered up in the sun without sweating to death in jeans and pants? I started wearing skirts and dresses. 40 years ago finding casual skirts and dresses was not easy. But I'm a sewer so I made my skirts and dresses. After my kids grew out of the messy stage, I moved to more dresses than skirts. I was working too much to sew very often so relied on box stores for my clothes. But the older and heavier I got, the less I like what these stores offered. The clothes didn't fit right, made me look like I was wearing a sack or were styled for much younger people. Then I found Torrid. Now I'm exclusive to Torrid cause Torrid fits, looks good for my age and the DRESSES - heaven! 😁😁😁 I've rarely had an issue with sizing or fit. At 5'2" length can be an issue, but I tend to ignore that and either just wear the dresses long or hem them.
I've tried pants in the past but wearing dresses for so long, they felt confining and uncomfortable. I also have an issue with how my stomach pooch looks and dresses cover that up while pants always seemed to enhance it. So when I saw these pants, they reminded me of the wrap pants I used to wear. I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. They fit and are comfortable and with a long shirt, my pooch isn't overly emphasized.
So if you're undecided, take it from someone who doesn't wear pants, these are worth it !!

I love these things so much I bought them in 3 colors/patterns! They are perfect for hot and humid summer days. They can be dressed up or down easily. They are also super flattering!

Light and cute
I was excited to see these pants and couldn't wait to get them ordered. Now that received them I love them even more! I've had items in this material in the past that have shrunk when washed, so that is one thing I'm worried about. Hopefully that is not the case with these.

Obsessed for summer
These are fantastic, airy pants for summer in a hot climate. They are definitely wide but fit the current trend and look effortless with a tight or tucked-in top. Torrid, please bring back the black and restock all colors in the short length!!

Fun and Flowy
Love These Pants! I loved the print more than anything and was intrigued by the slit on the sides, so I took a chance and am so glad I did. I'm like 5ft. nothing and depending on style, cut, and fabric I usually wear a size 18-20 short with Torrid pants, jeans and 18-20 in Torrid shorts. I went with the size 2 Short and they fit perfectly. In my bare feet the pant slightly touches the floor and in my 2 1/2 in. sandals the hem just hits the floor. The slit comes up to about half way up my thigh and I love how it almost looks like a flowy skirt when I walk. It's nice to have on a windy day because it will fly, but it won't fly up and show anything that doesn't want to get shown. I've already washed and line dried the pair and there was no color bleeding, tearing, or stretching. They fit great, love the elastic waist band and the tie to make it as tight or loose you want. I paired it with my mint green one shoulder double strap Torrid top and it looked fabulous. I do eventually want the matching shirt, but think I can get away with a solid color or even another tropical pattern. These are so fun and I want more. Would love to see a navy or even another fun print.
