I wear a size 18 jeans in Torrid and generally a size 1 or 2 in tops, lately I've been having to buy all of my dresses in a size 1 and they have been fitting absolutely perfect! My bust size is a 40 C and the size 2 dresses tend to be too saggy in the chest for me even with the straps all the way tightened. Love both dresses!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feel I bought this for my confirmation and it was absolutely perfect. It is flowy and feels nice, my straps weren’t falling and it has pockets. The material I believe is cotton and so breathable. I think this is perfect for church, but can be a great beach outfit, brunch outfit possibilities are endless. I loved this dress not sure why so many bad reviews. Sorry about the cropped pictures. Hope they help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mostly Perfect It’s a beautiful dress, but it’s an empire waist with lots of fabric in the area that sits against the body. Not tons of fabric, just the textured dress and the thin lining, but still a bit much for this cut. If you’re unconcerned about being nipped in at the waist, this dress is awesome. If, like me, you are concerned about that, it’s still awesome, just not AS awesome. I’m going to keep it because it’s well made and lovely, but if I feel insecure with the waist I’ll likely have it altered to nip in a little. You know how Torrid’s quality varies? Well, this is one of the nicer ones. I think it’s all cotton too. I love cotton as I run hot and cotton keeps me a little cooler.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One Of My Faves. The pictures on this site don't so this dress justice. This dress in person is so incredibly pretty. The fit of the dress is on the slightly bigger side so, if I wanted to size down 1 size, I could do so but the size I currently have is still a good fit as well. The only thing I would change is the polyester lining. Torrid can we start to implement 100 percent cotton for the lining of your dresses more often? They breath more easily in the hot and/or humid summers. Also please be more forth coming with the descriptors that is used to discribe the fabrics of your apparel. It's currently listed that this dress is 100 percent cotton when you and I both know that this dress is in fact not all 100% cotton. Please don't give your patrons a reason not to trust you. UPDATE - As I made an attempt to use the left pocket of my my dress, I noticed that the inseam had not been completed. I thankfully feel comfortable enough to sew the inseam together myself, but this is proving to be a recurring issue. I say this because I recently purchased a dress from the Festy Line as well. The pocket not being completed isn't a deal breaker but it's something worth notating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from too heavy I got the blue dress. It is very pretty. But I found it heavy. I think with the lining and all of the gathered material it would be too hot in the summer for me. It runs a little big and was not flattering on me. I returned it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty, But Runs Large This is a beautiful dress; I received a ton of compliments when I wore it a few days ago. That being said, it does have a couple of problems. First, it runs very large. I always wear a Torrid size 4 in dresses and had to return this for a size 3. Second, the straps are set too far apart. This might not be as much of a problem if you have a very large bust, but I don't. (For reference, I am a 48B.) The straps were practically in my armpits. Thankfully, my mom is a sewist and could easily move them closer together. Other than these two drawbacks, this is a lovely dress. I wear it with Torrid's Everyday Soft Pointelle Shrug in Ice Water, which is a great match.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Torrid is messing with me For reference I’m 375lb 5.6ft I wear 4/5xl, I order a 4xl since some of the reviews are saying that this dress runs big. And yes it does runs big. No way Jose I’m 3xl lol I haven’t wear a 3xl in years but I think 3xl was a better idea.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from lovely dress runs big This is a lovely dress. The material the feel is just beautiful. The dress is a bit too long for me. I am 5 feet 3 inches for reference. It hits right below the ankles. The dress is a tad to big towards the chest area. I am returning for a smaller size. I am usually a size 3 will be ordering in a size 2.
