I sized down one size and probably could have sized down another half size. I'm normally an 11 shoe, but a 10 for sandals - could've gone with a 9.5 here.

I was a little concerned because the major complaint in the reviews were that they were too narrow. But I decided to take a chance and, guess what, they fit fine. No problem with width. And they were stunning! They really sparkle in the sunlight! Both of us are very pleased with this purchase.
