The weight was nice, light enough to wear to the parks but heavy enough to feel secure wearing it.I really loved the pockets in this one, these are the deepest pockets I have found in a skort. My phone went all the way in & then some so I really felt that it was safe when I was walking, sitting, getting in & out of rides etc...I would absolutely buy this in multiple colors if they had them
