The is a beautifully tailored design and the velvet is not stiff and moves as you do. The color is rich red. Double breasted or open this looks amazing. I am hourglass but larger on top. It would suit an apple as well!

I love this coat.
I just bought this on sale and got a very good price on it. The fabric is beautiful and luxurious. The color is rich. The fit is wonderful. This will definitely be a staple that I can wear with other items besides the pants. I can’t wait to wear. I love this outfit. I got the pants also.

Seductive trench
I feel like the jacket fit way better than the pants. I didn’t buy it a preferred its warmth. I bought it to have the set. I don’t think the sleeves are too long at least not my coat. I don’t mind that it’s dry clean only the code is cute and I love the trench look to me. It’s super sexy. I can wear something super sexy and slinky underneath of it and keep it like a surprise kind of like in the movies I think that’s why I liked it. I would definitely buy this coat again.

Absolutely in love
I'm surprised to see the reviews starting off so poor for this jacket, but I'm also glad I decided to buy it anyway! I typically wear a 0 in tops and ordered a 0 and it fits like a dream. The sleeves are not at all too tight for me. I actually have enough room for a sweater to layer underneath.
The color is stunning in person and I can see myself wearing this A LOT this season. If you're on the fence, go for it.

I read some of the reviews and to note the bad reviews, first off it’s supposed to be thin n look like distressed velvet, also it states DRY CLEAN only… I swear people don’t pay attention you don’t wash it period and from the packaging to the tag inside it’s very clear so yea washing machine damage is your own fault! The jacket is a great fit obviously if tight on the arms get a bigger size there is compete t fit for everyone as we all come in different shapes n sizes so get over it

Beautiful material
This coat is made of delicate fabric, that said I think it’s beautiful on. I ordered my normal size and it fits perfectly. I’m round and bigger in the shoulders and chest so I took off the belt that came with. I can’t wait to wear it.

Not warm enough for me
The color is fabulous! The texture is amazing! It's a perfect accent piece. My personal reason for returning? I had high hopes that this would be warm.. but it's not. It's somewhere between light and mid-weight. I really, really wanted to love it, and if it ever comes back in a heavier material, I will 100% buy.

Cute!
I sized up to wear over sweaters and it fits great. It's not too big and it's not tight in the arms. I'm chubby, my arms are big and I'm curvy. It's a little thin so it's a cute dress coat. I probably didn't have to size up and it would still fit. I like the material and the color. I give a four out of five because it could be thicker.

Ok to skip this one
Doesn't meet the normal Torrid quality I expected
It's not very soft or velvet like. The lining isn't satin like in the fur coats, it's weird polysester.. It's a good jacket to go to the bars and not worry if it gets ruined. That's the only reason I'm keeping it. I would only buy if it was on sale,which I did. Glad I didn't buy the pants.

Cute Statement Piece!
This isn't my normal style, but it was so cute I had to give it a try. I found that it fit me fine although, the wrist/cuff area is kind of baggy on me. I think the quality is nice and the color is gorgeous. It ultimately ended up not suiting me style-wise, so I will be returning.

Cute Statement Piece!
