Enough room for my fat upper arms. I wear a size 1 in tops and ordered size 2 so I can wear it over sweaters. Got it for the office w/a purple mock turtle neck top or one of my shiny collared shirts w/dress pants. It's so comfortable & versatile! I wore it with a lime green T-shirt & jeans and again with a long black tunic & flared leggings.
