#1 work pants
I was so unsure what size/length to buy in these. I have a very hard time finding work pants that look professional and have a decent amount of stretch to them, let alone, that are actually comfortable for an 8+ hr work day. These definitely made me satisfied. I am 235lbs and 5'4", so I ordered a 2(18/20)Short, and I haven't had an issue with washing these yet. The waistband is still flat, which I've been trying to prevent the rolled up waistband issue(ty to the previous comments, to beware for this issue🙏), so I wash mine by hand, then put them in a spin cycle to drain them and then hang to dry. I love the length for spring, summer and fall, and will end up getting a Regular length black pair for wintertime to pair with my short booties, so no exposure of my ankles in the cold. The fabric is soft and very stretchy. The fit is tight, compression-like, and makes me feel secure. The ankles do tend to ride up about an inch or two as the day goes on, but no adjusting needed(in my opinion), they still look good. The inside pockets have a gracious amount of room in them(picture to show an idea of how much room they have in them). And the pockets are also made with this netted, mesh-type of material..things won't fall through them, but I feel like it's a type of shape wear/compression help for the front tummy area, which I love! If you DO end up putting anything at ALL in your pockets, just know you can easily see the outline with these pants though. They are my favorite pair of work leggings and I appreciate that they have pockets and so much stretch+comfortable compression. I hope my review and the pictures help someone else decide their size and/or length to buy their own🙏, since that was the hardest decision in buying these pants, for me. I would definitely recommend these pants. And also, being a short torso'd individual, the waistband does seem to fold in half alot during the day, where I sit at a computer most of the day and have a big roll right above and below my belly button, but it goes back flat when I stand up. I can see that possibly losing structure in the next year+. But I'm sure different job tasks, constant movements(or not alot of movement), and activity levels while wearing these pants, will obviously affect the waistband in lots of different ways.

Love these for work
I love these pants for work. They have pockets and are super comfortable. I will say they run tight so size up but the wither at Torrid warned me and I appreciated that. I usually wear a size 0 but in these I got a size 1 tall and they are perfect. I’m 5’8 and they hit at my ankles
