If you want a supportive bralette, this isn't really it. It holds me in well but there's no lift or much support. The little studs also show through tops (if that's a concern). It was perfect for what I wanted it for. My normal size in bralettes is a 3, and my bra size is 40J. A 4 in this would have been fine for the cups and too big in the band.
