I got a size up because I carry most of my weight in my waist. I actually order all jackets that way, so the fact that I can cinch it a bit for shape instead of it being boxy is awesome!

I live in Southern Nevada where it get's cold but not too cold this time of year (around 47-52 degrees F). Which is perfect weather for this jacket. I'm normally between a 2 and 3 (2 in pants, jeans, dresses and some sweaters and 3 in shirts/ jackets) so, I bought a size 3. It's a little big on me and I may have been fine with a size 2. I'm 5'4 and 230lbs.
