I originally bought the pink in a size 2 then I went back and ordered in a size 1 to see which I like better. I feel that they fit me decent in either size. They are true to size as the size 2 is a less snug around my belly. I'm 56 and have paired this top with jeans, slacks, skirts, shorts and even a cardigan or denim jacket. It's good for any occasion.

This shirt is styled to be fitted, I think the ladies saying it was too small just need to order by measurements not by size. Top is soft, sexy & can be dressed up or down! I am grabbing both other colors while I can!

If I went up to a 2 they'd be falling off of me. I'm a size 16 in tops and 42D so I am not that small either. I always get a size 1 and that is what I ordered. They are very soft and comfortable.

The lace up in the front provides some interesting detail but is only decorative - no risk of it coming untied and causing a wardrobe malfunction. The neck is perfect - not so deep to show too much, with enough shoulder to cover bra straps. I’m a size 2 and the size 2 fits perfect. Plenty long to stay tucked in. I’m only a B cup though - seems like reviewers with bigger boobs have found this tight through the bust. I tried the gray color on too and didn’t buy it - after pairing the pink with some of my favorite bottoms when I got home I now wish I bought that one too!
