The little peekaboo surplice opening does have a mini clasp button so you can cover up if necessary for work. I ordered the plaid and want to get ALL The other colors. I want this top in a short sleeve as well.

The material is light, I may suggest a cami underneath, but otherwise the blouse is amazing. The sleeves come to the wrist, and the bottom is an elastic bottom. I received numerous compliments on this blouse. I recommend this blouse in all colors!

I paired it with the cozy knit black ruana they have listed as "how to wear it" and it is such an elevated look, I love it!! I did have to get used to the bottom hem being an elasticized bottom, but it wasn't horrible. I loved the feel, very lightweight, and I wore a black tank underneath for modesty, but it wasn't a sheer top, nice and solid. I loved the flowy sleeves. Such a cute top, love!!
