I struck out last year with having to return 2 swimsuits from Torrid that either tugged the tummy or had gaping holes in the chest-zone for my baby (C/B) boobs.(Why, oh why, are there not options with high necks or something that doesn't have cutouts all over the boob-zone for us small-chested girls who can put both boobs in the space for one cup?? There were such great Retro-style one-pieces in 2021-- that blue and white gingham halter one, I'm looking at you, and was hoping for a similar piece) I tried on bottoms from a dept. store when I was visiting family over Memorial Day weekend, and wasn't too thrilled with how I looked for what they were asking so decided to look at Torrid again. Overall, the designs of the Torrid swimsuits this year weren't as appealing as last year's, or even from back in 2021 (or at least to me), but I decided to give these bottoms a try with going one size up, since my problem zone is with the lower part. These bottoms are longer than I expected- this is good, they're made well, and they FIT and don't squeeze your life away (though they might if I ordered my 'regular' size). The pocket's a definite plus! With a like-new top passed on from family and these bottoms, I'm ready to see how they do in the water! I'm hoping I'll love them as much as my blue & white gingham from Torrid.
