Flattering and flowy!
I ended up trying this dress in two different colorways because I liked the fit so much. I originally bought the black floral version, then saw the mauve floral color online and had to go try that one too. Ultimately, I kept the black floral because it was a little more slimming on me and the colors worked better with my skin tone — but both were really pretty in person!
What I love most is the length. This is more of a tea length/maxi length on me (I’m 5’5”) and it hits at a much more flattering spot than a typical midi dress. Midi dresses tend to cut me off awkwardly and make me feel frumpy, but this one flows nicely and elongates my shape instead.
I also love how figure flattering this dress is, even with an apron belly. The fabric skims instead of clings, and the cut is very forgiving while still showing shape. In one photo I layered a sheer tee underneath for extra coverage, and it looked super cute styled both ways.
For sizing reference, I’m a solid size 20/2X and bought the size 2. I’d say the fit is true to size.
Overall, I highly recommend this dress if you want something feminine, comfortable, and flattering without feeling tight or restrictive.

Pretty!
I bought this dress in the taupe color for running errands. I wear a 36F and it has plenty room for the girls to breathe with or without a bra. My normal size is 00 which is the size I purchased. It’s flattering and flowy with a lightweight material.

This dress is so flattering and hugs the right places. It doesn't have a lot of give, but if you get the right size it'll be lovely. I'm 5'0" and it was more of a maxi on me which I prefer over tea length... Just fyi for the shorter girls. The fabric feels high quality, especially compared to most of the dresses Torrid carries.
Also, makes the boobs like good!
