If you are close to the next size smaller, get the smaller size if you have thin legs and small butt. I wear 10 or 12 in Torrid jeans (black always runs small); 5”9, 195# with a small butt and thin legs, long torso, long arms and legs. The 10-14 fits great - ordered tall in the bootcut bc I have a 32-33” inseam and they are perfect - in the skinny I ordered reg. length bc I wanted ankle or just above. I hope the will come out with a Trio in a straight cut and a non-wide leg or straight-slight flare crop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are a life saver!!! I have always struggled to find jeans that fit right. I am an apple shape (carrying most of my weight in my belly, no booty, average thighs). I normally wear 18/20 in jeans. I got these in 16-20 and the fit is amazing! So stretchy and gives me a nice shape!! Wish these came in more colors!!

The fit hugs in all the right places, and the tummy control panel is a total game-changer—smooths everything out without feeling tight. Plus, the fabric is sooo soft—it feels like leggings but looks like premium denim. As someone on a weight loss journey the suggested size fit is so perfect! Most jeans pinch my loose skin, but Trio jeans hold it in without any chaffing or irritation. I can't recommend them more! These are officially my go-to jeans!
